June 2025, June 2024, June 2023: Sponsorship of the West Japan Intercollegiate Triathlon Championship Onomichi Innoshima
Valuing our contribution to student athletes and the local community, we sponsored the West Japan Intercollegiate Triathlon Championship Onomichi Innoshima.
Through this sponsorship, we are honored to support the growth of student athletes and contribute to the development of our hometown, Onomichi Innoshima. We send our warmest encouragement to these promising student athletes.
May 2025, April 2023: Investment in MtS Adventure Race Japan
We are proud to have contributed US$10,000 as a HALF-WAY DINNER sponsor for the "MtS Adventure Race Japan" charity event, organized by Mission to Seafarers, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting seafarers, in both 2023 and 2025.
April 2025: Donation to Save the Children - Myanmar Earthquake Emergency Child Relief
In response to the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, we donated 1,000,000 yen through Save the Children to support the affected children in the region.
March 2025: Acquired J-Blue Credits (21.6t - CO₂)
Through the “Cradle of the sea in Onomichi” project, we are contributing to Blue Carbon Offsets efforts by restoring tidal flats and seagrass beds.
We remain committed to preserving the local marine environment and realizing a zero-carbon society.
March 2023: Donation to Save the Children - Turkey-Syria Earthquake Emergency Child Relief
In response to the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, we donated 1,000,000 yen through Save the Children to support the affected children in the region.

Amidst the crisis in Ukraine, we felt compelled to take action. We donated 1,000,000 yen through Save the Children, hoping to provide some support to the children affected by the situation.

November 2019: ABO SHOTEN, LTD. 60th Anniversary Commemoration - Charity Gala for Save the Children
To commemorate our 60th anniversary in November 2019, we held a ceremony and party. On this occasion, our former President (current Chairman) Masafumi Abo had a connection with Save the Children, an international NGO specializing in child support.
As a result, we held a charity gala concert, donating all proceeds from our guests' participation fees to Save the Children, with the hope of contributing to the well-being of children around the world, even in a small way.
